About Me

I am currently doing a PhD at Inria-Lille, with the tema INOCS, under the supervision of Helene Le-Cadre and Luce Brotcorne. My work is focused on studying multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) using game theory.

Previously I was enrolled in the Master of Physics of Complex System, a master held by Politecnico of Torino, together with SISSA and ICTP in Trieste and various universities in Paris.

I gradueted at the University of Bologna with a bachelor degree in Physics, with a thesis on Deep Learning and Thermodynamics (the link is in the lower section, for the full version you can contact me).

My main interests are Artificial Intelligence, learning algorithms and, more in general, the study of how something can learn something new.

I am actually interested in models spacing also outside of the AI field, particularly when the aim is to build simulation of interesting phenomena related to real world problems.

The link Interesting Stuff contains various simple projects that are mostly basic physical or computational systems that show unusual and amusing properties, or that are just nice to look at.

Together with these nice and fun projects, I try to pursue other (usually bigger) projects. Most of the time I just start something new and after some time either it happens to be less interesting than what I was thinking, or I have other stuff to do (such as actually work on my PhD) and I leave them on hold. Anyway, most of these larger projects end up on my Github , if they ever get finished.

When I have time I also like to mix music, at the bottom of the page there are some of the mix I did recently.

Online Projects

UPDATE: everything related to scraping stuff online needs to be checked and updated a lot (more than the time I have), so if it's broken it may get fixed in the future but it's not sure...

  • Geo-Trends: scrape tweets around a given location and graph the most used hashtags. UPDATE: seems like every time Twitter updates something the library does not work well, I may fix it later...
  • World-Happiness: explore the data of the World Happiness Report.
  • Huffman-Encoding: see how one of the most used compression algorithm works.
  • News Classifier: very proud of this project, a fine-tuned Bert classify economic news that are scraped online (better description on the page).
  • Arxiv Multi-Catchup: I wanted a way to have in one page multiple Arxiv categories, so I did this..
